1987 924S. Headlight motor burned out and just installed a replacement, but acting strangely! Haven't tightened down the nut on the actuating arm, but when headlights turned on, lights turn on, but motor does not activate. If the high/low beam lever is pulled the motor activates, presumably raising the lights if the nut were tight. Pulling the high/low beam lever again, and the motor activates again, presumably lowering the lights. Could this be because of a different relay type? Somehow doubtful! I haven't swapped out the old relay as I wanted to check here first. Thoughts? Thanks!
