Hi guys, I've searched/trawled both forums and google and I'm coming out more confused than when I went in.

I believe Ive found a 5speed box to replace the 4speed in my 944. Case number is as follows:

016 301 231B

I believe it is a 5speed as the case is in three pieces where as Google image search says the 4 speed is in two parts; I'd stick my head under mine and have a look but car is currently not near me.

Anyone able to confirm it is actually a 5 speed?

Cheers

Nick
