Has anyone found a replacement alternator for our Bosch antique? Hopefully it would be a push thru for cooling eliminating the need for the rear cover and cooling duct and physically smaller.

Didn't Ideola use something off the shelf. I can't exactly recall what, but somebody on here should be able to enlighten us.

Yes I remember him having one, I think it was from GM and had more power, 120 amp or so. I'm looking for less power and smaller. The car only has 3 electrical circuits so 50 amp would be fine. The suggestions I have gotten from the racer folks are GEO Metro and Datsun 510, both small, at least semi available.
