Hey fellow 924. (1979)
A few years ago I bought a European distributor and am thinking about changing mine out. It looks like it has points
Lately, I have had missing and low power on the engine at lower engine speeds. very annoying. timing is set correct.
Over the last few months(or years) I pulled the engine, changed rear main seal, clutch, oil pan gaskets, Head gaskets, valve job including valve seals, belts, wires, cap rotor and plugs and a myriad of smaller jobs to get this tip top.
Not good at posting pictures but the part # is 047905205b and 0231170202 also has z 42
Let me know if there are advantages or disadvantages please.I think that the main vacuum difference is that there is also a retard on the original ROW one currently installed
