So I know we chose the wrong way to do the 951 front clip but I see you did it the best way possible especially since yours is an S anyway
Man why do I make things so hard for myself...German overthinking
Awesome pics!
Just read an old Excellence on a German 173mph 924S (183 capable with right weather) with a 951S motor. So sweet _________________ 1980 931 since 1989

Question: does the 931 valence fit properly over the bottom of the radiator in your car? Is the subframe perfectly vertical? Mine kicks out a bit at the bottom and I'm wondering if it got welded in a bit cockeyed....

Its all tight, but yes, it works just fine. And the engine tray still fits as it should _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

No idea. Never put a level on it. I didn’t weld it up. Everything fits correctly. Sorry, not in a position to check for a few days _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

K, thanks for the replies. If you are feeling exceedingly generous, I would love a measurement between the rad support and crossmember. _________________ Toofah King Bad
