Thanks to this forum I was able to find that a simple relay was easier and more to the point all I needed to get back on the road without a new fuel pump.

thanks guys

I really need to know now what muffler to install for a "sporty" sound. The one I have now is a relatively new and probably factory correct but quiet system.. what do you suggest?

Thnks Paul but I don't think I described the nee correctly, what I"m looking for is a rubber boot that fits to the body at the point of gas fill. this boot prevents odors from filling to infiltrate the cabin and surrounds that intake tube.

I got it now it's the sleeve that was highlighted in the list, thanks.
