I have a 1981 924 with a platinum gold color. It was repainted before I got the car.
My question--is there supposed to be apiece of beltline trim arond the mid-section. If so what color should it be.
Any source names appreciated
Thanks,
ted von kampen

If you are talking about the black plastic 'rubbing/bump strips' they are available new from Porsche Centres. At a guess circa $250 for a full set last time I looked

Yes that is what I meant. Wow that's a little pricey. But on a Porsche what isn't. Thanks,
Ted

I'll take that price any day of the week!!

I looked at Rosepassion.com last year and it was about €1000 for all the stips....

Carrera RSR - Just to let you know, I found a full set (both sides) of the trim at Auto Atlanta for about $95. Porsche PN is 477853995. That's a lot better yet.

You may want to get a sample or inspect before buying.

I don't think that's the original material and if you're settling on non-Porsche OEM material you could find it cheaper elsewhere.
