|
|
This evening I tried to adjust the toe setting on my 1983 924.
I have the Porsche tool enedes for the task.
I loosened the two vertical positioned bolts. Also the nut on the camper exentric.
Tried to adjust by means of the tool, but it is very firm and nothing is really moving anywhere.
Something is stuck.
Any suggestions on how to proceed from here.
Any advice is appreciated. |

Thank you for your reply.
The correct bolts have been loosened, so it must be stuck due to rust.
I will start spraying the hole damn thing with WD40 or similar.
Maybe also a few blows with a plastic mallet.
I hope this will free it.
If not I will wait until winter garage season is here. I plan to completely rebuild the front and rear suspension.
Only shocks and a few bushings has been replaced until now.

Did you undo the sway bar nut on the inside as well? _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

| I find that PB Blaster works better than WD-40, and Kroil works better than everything off the shelf, for freeing rusty stuff. Shy of heat anyway... |
