Took my alternator out as it was sitting pretty heavily crooked, had no rubber mounts just some random misc. Washers on some pretty worn out bolts, been trying to find pictures of what everyone has done to fix issue, seen lots of threads on skateboard truck bushings, but no how to...was hoping someone could post something of that nature or link me too it, as I cannot find a cut and dry size of bolt for the mounts or anything for that matter, and since it did not have the proper bolts or bushings I have nothing to go off of to rebuild new ones. Lower mounted 77 924 n/a alternator bracket in picture below, excuse the oily mess

You can download a copy of the parts manual from Porsche. It's essential to have. I bought some replacement rubber mounts last year...it was either from Pelican or ECS tuning. I know they wern't cheap, but old Porsche parts never are.

Dan at Ideola I believe has the upper bushings altho you might also need the sheet metal bushing caps. I don't know if some drilled to fit fender washers would do. I don't have a solution for the bottom rubber connector. I hope to make this weekend some solid upper bushings. My first samples will be hardwood as my lathe is for wood and I'm not very good with it and my cnc router won't cut steel and doesn't like aluminum much. I'm trying to get to a more modern mounting system although then the steel brackets will probably fail.
