Being from Colorado, I fully acknowledge the inconsequential nature of this dusting. But, it's very rare here in Stumptown, and the reaction to it is downright hilarious.

It was -6°F this morning. It's made it all the way to +7°F as of this moment, high for the day. Projections for -15°F overnight within the next 2-3 days.

In other news, I wonder how smelly it is to burn donkey shit?

Its lovely here with around 19°F so -7°C as a minimum for the night and just below freezing during the day.
Good luck with the cold guys, a few years ago we had -13°F for a month and it was expensive to keep the normal home comfort.

It hit -9 degrees C here last night, almost a record. Waaaay too cold for this cowboy.

Dan, what's that about donkey shit ? Sorry, I didn't follow...

Morgen we don't pay what Europe does for energy. At the worst time of year in the winter I only pay about $120 Cdn. to heat 3200 sq. ft.

Rasta, you look like a little boy out of some classic novel. Somebody needs to ride the Polar Express....

We have three donkeys and three mini horses on our "hobby farm." They produce a prolific amount of "road apples". Back in the day, pioneers would burn "cow patties" for heating their sod homes.

I'm working on a composting system, but right now, I have a large manure pile in our middle pasture. It won't compost much over the winter, so it's going to grow over the next three months.

So I was jokingly wondering if it could be burned for heat.
