This has to be one of the most awesomest cars I've ever owned. Sweet 76 AMC gremlin. 4-cyl just like our toofahs. Only paid $7k for it but I'm hoping to be able to interchange as many parts as I can between the two cars to save money on the restoration. I think even the wheels are interchangable, well maybe three of them because one is a spare.

Check it out!!!

A Gremlin!! In high school (1978), friend of mine had one. He painted it with flames along the side. We would skip class and go to the beach with it. I borrowed it to go to work too. Fond memories...

I also had a thing for the Pacer!

I can't quite recall, but isn't there something about not letting those things get wet?

I delivered pizzas in one of these in '75 for a year. Totaled the car by rear-ending a taxi-cab at midnight one night, fell asleep behind the wheel! Crappy AMC baby-butt poop brown dash. 7 grand? hmmm.

I don't care..give me a car from the 70's! Gremlin, Pacer, Bricklin, X 1/9, or of course 924. Perhaps a Starsky & Hutch Torino.

My boss paid cash for a brand new gremlin ('69.5) and has put 485k on it. I'll have to grab a picture sometime.

1974 could be bought for ~ $3,000.

Can't seeing much more than that one.
