Will a set of 944 fenders and front bumper fit on a 931? Or to get the wide front would you need to go with fiberglass fenders?

Yep, they fit. Need to do the rears to match though. 924 chassis is the basis for the 944 so lots of parts interchange (some require some effort though).

You could even go with a 951 or S2 front end, but that requires changing the nose panel as well as a few other bits.
