Paint catalogs list GP White and Alpine White for 87 Porsches. Did the Toofah S come in both? Seems like alpine is "creamier" and grand prix is brighter white. Is this correct?

Each factory had its own paint codes. For example; Guards Red was LM3A for the 924/944, but was 027 for the 911/928. Black was L041 for the Audi factory and 700 for the Porsche factory and so on. If the paint doesn't have two codes, then it wasn't used at the Audi factory...

Grand Prix White doesn't have two codes, so it is safe to assume that it was never used on a 924 or 944 model.

Per Peter Morgan book, Alpine was the only white offered on the 87 924S.
