Have a nifty Blaupunkt am/FM in my 78. Works well and is attractive. Don't know the model name and I need that, as I need to source a left knob for it. It's AM FM only and has a row of presets under the dial, each labeled AM or FM. Its a two stalk radio. Looks like it came with the car. Any ideas? _________________ 1978 924, aka The Red Rocker

Yes, and haven't come across one just like it. Knobs might be a common item shared across models, not sure. I'd also like knowing more info about it too. _________________ 1978 924, aka The Red Rocker |

Have you looked at some of the original sales brochures? That might tell you if the radio was original from the factory.
This guy has some scanned. coochas.com/brochures/924.htm
Also try google images.
I don't know that this is going to help you find the knobs. _________________ 78 924 |

| There is a blaupunkt Becker restoration guy in New Jersey. I'll dig out his number. Real nice guy. He'll probably have the knobs. He can also rig it up for an iPod connection. I've got two blaupunkt like this. The knobs like to wear out. |
