Im trying to get a collection of all the performance cam profiles there are and feedback/opinions on them.
I have found a few but would like to see what you guys can share.
OR what would be best for running 16psi of boost.

Last cam thread I posted in:-
http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=36228

A lot depends on type of exhaust manifold and how free-flowing the exhaust system is in general, including the turbine/housing. That's assuming you are talking about boost from a turbo and not a blower, as they have different cam requirements...

It also depends on what your intended use is and your desired power-band.

well the intended use would be... um... hooning??
looking for mid to upper range power.
I think id be leaning toward a stg3 type set up, just wondering what some negatives or benefits of certain specs may be.

For instance, why didnt you go with more lift on your cam?

heres the VS specs on a couple:

webcam: 267°/267° 243°/243° .517"/.517"

integral st3: 284°/280° 248°/242° .538"/.520"

Hooning?

I think the Stage 2 and upwards Integral profiles start to lose some bottom-end power.
Steve Bassington had a stage 2 IIRC and commented on having nothing below 3000rpm, then power came in hard.

Stage 3 will move it up further so it depends on when you want the power to start. Some very lumpy cams can be a PITA if you're driving in heavy traffic.
It would be interesting to drive a car with a Stage 3, and maybe a rolling road session with different cams set-up.

There were a few reasons I didn't go with more lift and/or duration. First of all I wanted something that didn't remove performance below 3000rpm.
It's a road car first and foremost.
I didn't want to go too overboard with lift as you get to the point where you're getting too much valve train wear for a road car that has to do sensible mileage between rebuilds.
I kept overlap down to a minimum as at the time I planned on keeping the stock log exhaust manifold and running the K27 I have but my plans have since changed. Reversion is more likely to occur with the stock log.
I still think it will be quite a potent road cam especially compounded by boost.

I think I may eventually get AGAP to regrind a stock cam to one of their hairy profiles, just to see how it would perform with a tubular exhaust mani and the much less restrictive Holset turbo I have.
Truth be told I think the Holset will provide the performance - they do around 450-470hp on a 2.5L at 1.5bar boost.
