Say, you EFI heroes out there, I just installed bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. Downloaded and purchased the ShadowDash from EFI Analytics, and have been uploading logging data to Shadowtune.com, saving the files to the PC, and then uploading to the free download of Racerender. And, for fun, uploading same files to Megalogviewer as well to further discourage me from switching over to whatever's remaining of the left brain. Beer up.
So, got one question, I'm interested, though, MAT, Manifold Air Temperature readings for EFI MS cars for the following:
1. N/a cars.
2. Turbo cars with no intercooler.
3. Turbo cars with front mounted intercoolers.
4. Turbo cars with TMIC, like mine.
5. Turbo cars with air/water, etc. intercoolers.
Just want to know how 'efficient' and effective, my setup is versus, other options. yo. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

Did a 1500-6000rpm run in 3d gear with the new intercooled setup to measure IAT's. The bright colored lines in the figure below are the old (no IC) setup, the gray-ish lines is the new setup:
Went from 53.5dg rise in approximately 13 seconds to 5.7dg |

On Gulf race-car, never more than 10 C over ambient while driving (idling gets it over 50C after hard driving). It has massive intercooler though.
On the turbocharged 924 Euro 2.0 (~250 hp on pump gas @ 1 bar) at full boost 4th gear ~45C while 30C ambient. 951 intercooler. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

Thanks, your 45 is 113 in Fahrenheit, and that's were I was the other day in 91 degree ambient temp. This was after running hard, coolant temp around 180 degrees. So, the TMIC does work! At idle though, afterwards, MAT was soon at 147! Will have to do a second run after the idle heat-soak and see what happens to MAT. _________________ '83 944 Track car.
