Hi there. I have this problem regarding
my 1983 alpine white 924 with black interior:
The trunk mat seems to be too
small!. Both on left and right sides the
trunk mat, with the wooden boards underneath
does not reach the carpet on the sides at the
wheel arches. This
is not supposed to be like that, is it??
Can it have shrunk, or is this normal, or
should there be some padding underneath the
vertical carpet ??
Furthemore, what do you consider a good source for new (aftermarket)carpets/trunk mat. Here in
the Netherlands a original trunk mat costs
450 Euro, which since last weekend equals
450 US dollars.
Thanks in advance, sincerely

| The carpet is not supposed to look shrunken. Rather than pay for new carpets, look around for used ones. They should not cost too much. |
