hey everyone

as I was looking for information and parts for my old rayjay turbo that came with the bae kit, I began to think that it may be better to try to find a different turbo that may have more availability of parts as well as being more efficient. I started to look at evilbay for one that would be reasonable that may or may not need rebuilt.

I am still running cis with a turbo wur and do not plan on changing(although sometimes that can be a day to day decision).

some that I have looked at/considered are k26(924 and 944), k27, garret t25(several from eclipse/eagle talons), tdo4 and tdo5 (mostly from volvo or saab) although I thought the compressor map I found for a tdo6 may have been better. There are several t3 and t3/t4 - perhaps thermally safe but a bit large from what I have heard.

Does anyone have any thoughts on any of these or other suggestions? all ideas are greatly appreciated.

thanks very much
Sean

I did find other posts that thought a k24 (200hp) would be ok, as well as a tdo5h and our very own k26 and k27. The gt28rs seems to be a rather desirable turbo by many, but the t25 seems as though it could be ok - after looking at so many compressor maps, your head begins to spin like the turbo
