Ok reading the tech section am I correct in that my 83 944 brakes will swap right onto my 82 924 (4 bolt) but I will not be able to use my fuch alloys (on 944)? So I will need wheels? Will the flat dish 16 inch wheels work with the 944 brakes and 924 fenders?

It is just better to swap suspension for suspension correct or can the bottom ends of each just be swapped?

Thanks I know another post about the same topic.

Yes, the disc brakes from a 83 944 will bolt onto an 82 924/931 without any trouble.

You will need to take the front steering knuckles, calipers, rotors, flexible brake lines, and wheel hubs from the 944.

In the rear you will need the wheel hubs, rotors, calipers, parking brake assemblies, rigid brake lines, parking brake cables.

No, the 944 wheels will not fit. The FUCHS five bolt 16 X 6 924/931 forged wheels will fit fine.
