HELP!!!!!
Ok.. i am getting a lot of fuel in the oil and dont know where to look... the injectors are new... the o-rings are new.... the fuel pressure reg and diaphram are all new as well.... not sure why i am getting so much fuel
All vac lines are new or close to it as well
i dont want to drive the car anymore now either because of this issue as well as the vibration issue... The rings are going to get washed out at this rate and will destroy the engine
Im starting to think this car is determined to become a parts car for someone the rate it is going (not giving up yet though)
Any ideas what else could be an issue? I need to get this car fixed quickly but not sure where to start? _________________ 1987 924s "Enzo"

Make sure the injectors are seated correctly. If the 0-ring is not in the correct position, it can squeeze the injector to where it can't close.
A stuck injector would also explain why your engine will suddenly lock when trying to start. _________________ '84 944 -White, Brown interior

so what your saying is that if the fuel rail is not completly bolted down (the 4 bolts) that it will not close the injectors properly?
That does not seem to make sense...completly
I thought the injectors opened and closed by the little needle pin (much lower than the o-rings) so not sure how that would pinch but ill take a look at it
All i know is that the oil is going to be drained here this weekend. Its over the full line and i dont like it... Ill probably run some cheap oil through it after that for a brief warm up and drain it again to get all the fuel out...
I just hope it didnt damage anything (Bearings, rings, cylander walls, etc)
is there anything else you guys can think of that would result in this issue as well? Im going to grab a noid light set from work and see if any of the connectors are shorting to stay on longer than it should
I will also be doing spray pattern test to see if the injectors are faulty (not happy if they are.. since new a few months ago) _________________ 1987 924s "Enzo"

No, I'm saying that if the O-ring has twisted or rolled during installation to the plenum, the injector won't seat properly. This can result in stress to the tip of the injector and cause it to stick open. A worst case scenario is that the injector has been permanently damaged by improper installation. _________________ '84 944 -White, Brown interior

I dont think the O-rings twisted or rolled... i lubed them up before i put them in and the Injectors are new (New.Old.Stock)
I still plan to pull them and check them and going to let them spary into a container and then see if they shut off properly or if staying open.... if staying open... i know one injector company that will be getting some nasty phone calls! _________________ 1987 924s "Enzo"

Well, that could explain the vibration....
BTW, the Old part of the New Old Stock part of your injectors generally tends to mean they've been sitting around since they were produced. This can lead to all sorts of oddities as lubricants dry out, electrical and machined components corrode, etc. _________________ Stefan

yeah i was worried about that as well since it was NOS
Its still under a warranty and all so if they are bad... i will be contacting the company to get new ones sent...
I plan to pull the rail off tomorrow and get the injectors tested to see which ones are doing what... and also going to drain all the oil out...
i just hope the bearings are not shot... im really really worried about that since i just finished putting this motor back in and all _________________ 1987 924s "Enzo"
