I'm looking to buy an '81 or '82 931.

Here are the requirements:

Body must be near perfect. Dings are okay, dents are not. Accident damage must have been professionally repaired, and be virtually undetectable. Paint must be very good, and shiny. No big scrapes or obvious fading. Prefer cars with good original paint, but a very good repaint would be acceptable. Colors preferred are black, guards red, or silver. Would consider other colors. No two-tone cars.

Interior must be black. Seat shape is not important. Some dash cracks are okay. Carpet must be in decent shape, although some fading is acceptable. Roof pieces must be in good shape, with no tears. Same goes for the rear 1/4 panels.

Engine must have good compression/leakdown. Professional rebuilds are a plus. Cars that need turbo replacement would be considered. Prefer a car that needs nothing mechanically.

The car must have almost no electrical problems. Flickering gauges are okay, but blowing fuses and relays are not. All electrics must function, including gauges, wipers, stereo, heater fan, DITC system, lights, etc. Working a/c is big plus.

Cars local to southern California would be nice. Would consider out of state cars, but they must provide many pictures, and be willing to have the car inspected by a mechanic. I will pay for the inspection.

Unmodified cars are a plus.

Suspension/brake condition is not important, as long as I can drive from wherever you are back to southern California.
