924board.org proving mechanics screwy!

924board.org should be on TV on one of those "consumer" programs! How many instances have come up here on this board where someone has had a mechanic screw them? How many times has it been proven that the mechanic was actually screwing them?? LOTS!

How about screwing UP? I've had the "mechanic replacing the tie rod ends without following up with an alignment" and the "mechanic not tightening the toe in-out adjuster nuts after an alignment" both within 1 week by different garages on the same vehicle. My brother had the "mechanic not tightening the lug nuts after tire replacement" - we got half way through replacing his perfectly good U-joints before noticing that one. There's no wondering why I do all my own work now.
