Hi, I helped a mate fit an oil catch tank to his 2.0L NA race car over the weekend, and then when thinking about it afterwards realised I might have screwed it up!
We used a smaller diameter tube than the original (about 9mm id), so I'm scared I might have created too much ressitance in the breather now. How critical is the size of the breather on these engines? _________________ Andrew

9mm ID should be fine for a crank case breather, did you delete all the charcoal canisters and other associated crap?? _________________ Over the top of skyline, total brake failure.... hit the wall at over 200 kp/h at the dipper, so anyone who has to brake for the esses is a pussy.

All it had before we started was a hose going straight from the block to the air cleaner. _________________ Andrew
