|
|
Need a holder for the fuel pump (944 356 295 00 - bracket only, have the 2 rubber pieces) and the fuel filter (944 356 471 01), as well as the bracket (944 356 593 01) that's holding up the (I believe) fuel lines (located on left side between tank/rear axle).
Should anyone has a donor vehicle with these parts in good condition and is willing to sell - please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Andre' |

That's a good question! The 924s ahare many parts but I'm not quite sure about the items I need. Maybe the boards experts know the answer here...
But thanks for your reply - let's stay in touch!

Might either of you guys have a good heater control cable? Some time in the past, a stereo installer kinked the cable so we always have heat on but no full heat...reading in the PET doesn't give a diffinative part #. _________________ Mark

Mark, that part is sold with the control unit. Best bet would be to disassemble and straighten the cable you have, or fab a duplicate. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Straightening it is useless; it's kinked so it would correctly "push" the valve.
I suppose I shall endeaver to make one - or find a used unit.
Thanks. _________________ Mark

Or use an old fashioned choke cable.

Actually, I've tripped over a complete HVAC control with good cables from a local that's stripping a car for the track.
When it gets warm enough, I'll put it in. 'Til then, I have the valve about 50% open. I have the roof to let out the extra heat.
The best news is that, for the first time since June, my car is running. Runs good, still needs lots of TLC. Drove it to the KC PCA breakfast last Saturday!! _________________ Mark
