check out the mount of the master cyl...the one from the pedal.
maybe the firewall has cracked or weakened and you've got cyl movement.
maybe you didn't tighten the cyl properly and it moves.

The firewall is quite flexible there.
I've made a reinforcement aluminium plate to help the fiewall
