| Has anyone seen any real improvement on a 924 na by adding an MSD ignition system? |

Sure, but the reason for adding a MSD ignition is to increase your spark gap. If you just install the MSD with no gap increase then you won't notice as much. IMO its not really worth it though. BTDT

Some dramatic improvements from MSD have been reported from owners with faulty or poorly maintained ignitions. Others with a good condition stock system notice little more than a lighter wallet or a credit card bill.
Usually new plugs, leads, cap, are replaced along with a MSD install. Timing is adjusted and engine tuned. Behold - better starting, running, and more power. Then the MSD gets all the credit.
No other ignition is really needed on a stock NA, particularly an anemic USA model, and personally suggest your money is much better spent on a good tune up and service. |
