|
|
I am sorry for having to post this, I am sure it has been covered somewhere, but my searches did not come up with anything.
My carpet is wet on the passenger side front. Imagine that, I get the AC fixed and now the carpet is suddenly wet.
Anyway, I have done the battery fixes, but have never checked the AC condensation drain line. So here is my question where is it, and what am I looking for?
Thanks in advance for your assistance! You guys are great! _________________ 67 Mercury Cougar XR7 under Restoration

| Hopefully you have found a drain tube (about 3/8") at the bottom of the A/C box facing the front of the car, just to the right of the center hump. There should be a rubber hose attached going straight forward. Have not traced the outlet. It is there to drain condisation from the A/C box. Any way that is what I have on my 87 924S. |

+1 for Ole Billy
Drain hose should be on the left side (driver's) of the A/C unit. Hose is probably disconnected or clogged. _________________ 1987 Porsche 924S - track toy

Agree with above info.
Also check your fan intake to see if the spongy paperthin air filter has deterioated and is flaking apart. This will eventually clog the drain hole.
