My account got hit this time by bogus charges, first time ever. They took a little over $300 from my Paypal account plus $137 from my checking account that was linked to it. If nothing else, just go change your passwords and make sure nothing is out of sorts. It's not much money this time, but it still sucks that I can't get it back for 5-10 days while Paypal "settles the dispute".

by rapidshare? I use that occasionally to get bootleg movies... I hope I don't get hit with a law suit for saying that... or get my paypal account hacked!

I have a friend who gets all sotrs of movies that way.. on his pc and tv... the rip though that sucks guys.. them bastards.

Sorry, the title should have said "BS"...

Rapidshare the actual company may or may not actually be behind it, but someone is using the name "Rapidshare" to get into Paypal accounts and make charges to themselves from your account. There may be a virus or something from downloading a file from there perhaps??? I'm not sure. I haven't been to one of their sites in a loooooooooooooong time. I changed my passwords and locked my checking account against Paypal until I call my bank to clear transactions coming from Paypal again.
