I bought a medium (dont know what medium) blasted inlet manifold. I also had the flange flattened.
But just before fitting it I realised the inside is not clean at all at the moment and any residu of the blasting/machining will be going right in the block.
How should it be cleaned to avoid any damage?
Cheers,

Thats what the machinist said and did.
But I am still reluctant to bolt it to my overhauled engine...

Sure, soak it in some water with detergent. That should help loosen any grit that might be stuck in oil residue. -And run a bottle cleaning brush through it.. Hose 'er down, and let 'er dry. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."
