Hi!

Thought this might be fun to post since the activity in this part of the forum isnt so high. Was the first autox race of the year with the PCS. Much fun even though my dampers and roll bars were ill set and the asphalt was totaly crap with bumps and holes. It was a tigth battle between me and the gt3s and the rses:) Will post the results later. My new engine setup works splendid, the engine now feels so explosive and you really have to watch the right pedal, if not the powerslide is there. Just watch the return in the vid, i made way more mad slides later, to bad I didnt got them on vid . After som sorting out this will be a great season if it continues like this, not a single problem, the car just coped with the abuse.

Engine setup for this year, largest 2664 compressor housing with the small #4 turbine housing, boost 0.7 instead of 0.65, other than that a stock s2 engine. The boost now comes on about 600 rpms later but after that the power is more fierce and keeps really strong up to the redline. The efficiency is really much grater at high massflows.

Filmed outside and incar

It didnt feel like it, the damping was way to soft, must have changed it while I was fiddling with the struts this winter. But still its sooo much easier to drive fast than the stock n/a ive done most driving with. The car just goes were you want to Wait and see, it will behave better and go even faster when i get all things sorted out. Probably I need to step up in spring ratio up front even more. This will be an exciting season!!

So the results are in, not so bad. I ran in the "R" class due to my r888 tyres (which were completely useless in 6 degrees celsius and no warmup). In this class you can modify how much you want and have r-compound tyres. So the other gt3s had big wings and huge tyres. Not so bad to squeze myself in the middle of the result list. (the number to the right is the sum of the 2 best runs and gives you your final result)

R-class

Standard class, in this class most modifications is ok except R-compund tyres.

The classic class where my car would be with "sport" tyres were even further away. Feels good to be competitive this year, with some more fine tuning they will have to watch out for a white car this year

Wow - nice driving! Looks like the rear needs a little more tightening.

We just changed lots for our autocross season. We have a much bigger lot now, but the surface is not so good, plus all the gravel from the past winter. We had a few spin outs and excitement at our first event this past weekend.

Here's a video with some of my driving skills (or lack there of)....

Thats a large parking lot, we dont have those here. If there are any big supermarket lots they are filled with lamp posts nad curbstones everywhere . Its almost only on deserted air strips. Dont you have those over there?

Yeah - we got kicked out of our last high school parking lot, but lucked into an even bigger one that is closer to house! This is a fairly large high school that is supposed to be empty on the weekends, but you can see from the video that at least one student car was left in the lot.

It was a bit gravelly, but we can deal with that...the lot is huge, and has no light poles. It is almost too much space.

I think my driving clips were from 0:50 to 1:15 in the video. I wasn't looking, I am sure we were hitting 60+ mph on that straight part.

Here's some more pics...

Sorry to hijack your thread...I am hoping to take the 924S or the 190E-16v to the next event.

Brad
