Hey everybody - I want to clean up my window switches...sometimes they don't open the window on the first try. How do I remove them?

The switch housing is what clips into the door cards, they have clips on the sides not top and bottom, so pretty much get your finger tips under the side of the housing and once you get one side started out its cake...

My window is fixed. Just like you said, I was able to pull the whole switch panel out and I then removed the passenger switch from the panel, take off the button and clean the contacts inside with my Dremel tool and a small wire brush. I put it all back together and is good again. That was the quickest fix I have ever done.

Hmm, maybe I'll try the dremel and brush... I've been trying to scrape the contacts down in there with the end of a points file. I've done them that way atleast 3 times and trying to get the angles of the springs right. They seem to work better after I play with them but soon fade back to inoperable. I even continuity check the crap out of them and they test great but then don't work after a while. I know its the switches because the windows work perfect if I jump the plugs to operate them.
