At some point in the past of my car the battery box rotted out and was repaired with fiberglass. They seemed to have done a fine job but there is no provision for water drainage. Holds water like a bathtub everytime it rains! Where should I drill a water drain? Where is the stock one? Sounds like a silly question but I just don't want to drain on the passengers feet!

The drain is the hole in the firewall next to where the battery cable comes through to go to the starter. Typically this gets clogged with debris and needs to be cleaned out. If you still have the rubber cap over the drain, make sure that the rubber flap moves freely.

Ahh, thanks! I guess I didn't look to hard! Looks like they filled it half way with fiberglass resin so I will have to grind it out to make it drain.
