I can't really help you with advices, but I can help you with parts, if I find them.

Ah its great to be a hungarian 100% -
Im thinken about maybe putten in a 4 spd in stead of a 5 My mechanic say no dont the 5 spd is better. its true though you can get a shift kit from dst for the 4 spd. not so with the snailshell 5 spd.

Hello Teo.I read your message maybe 3 times and i still reading it.Inever think that will be somebody that close to Romania.I stay whith my 924S about 3 month in a rent garage with differencial broke, and here in Romania is no chance to find a complet transmission.I find maybe 4 gearbox from simple 924 but is not god for my car.If you can find there a transmission from 924 s, or 944, let me know,i am disperate.Keep in touch.My e-mail:grainginer@masini.ro

Hey, Lizard,for me is good only 924 s or 944 transmission whith 25 mm coupling ax.the simple 924 trans is not good.And the shipping from you is werry expansive too.
