Hallo,

i am just back home from the famous technoclassica exhibition in essen/germany.
Porsche presented a 924 from the POLIZEI (police)
It has loudspeakers in the front and back, a special pocket on the right door cover for a UZI (Maschinegun) its a automatik-version.
Here some pics.[/img] [img][/img][img][/img]

Attention: Watch for the exhaust!! It is pointing to the left sid of the car, maybe the goverment found out that a straight pipe is causing the fume-Issue.....??? Morghen?

Now that's a cool police car! I wouldn't mind getting pulled over if it's a porsche, but I wonder if I could maybe out run it....

There's No wing (spoiler) on the back either, I wonder if that makes any different 's for the exhaust problem?

I see what you mean but remember that in late 70's and early 80's normal four cylinder sedans / family cars were slower than 924.

in the 70's and 80's most family cars had 50 hp and cruised at around 90Km/h or under.

So it's for UZI's?
I always used mine for cd's.

So to keep my car in stock condition i'd need an uzi... can't find it in the PET list though.

Anyone ever seen that throttle linkage btw?

Looks dual cable, some kind of return cable which you can find on motorcycles...

Wonder what it does and why it's on there... haven't seen it before.

Brockoli seems to forget that Euro 924's (125hp) were considerably faster than US versions.
