OK, I got a big old piece of silicone tubing from AutoHausAZ.

Question: I never see mention of clamps on these lines. Is it proper to install them on a 931 clampless? Seems like the Lindsey kit is clampless.

Question: I didn't get new "tees." Do the factory plastic tees work OK?

TIA for your insights.

I installed mine without clamps on the 941 with no issues. The factory tees work well with the 3-4mm silicone lines. On SONIC, when I was chasing down some vac leaks, I installed zip ties on the 4mm lines because I couldn't find clamps small enough. But I don't believe they are necessary.

On my other turbo cars, I've found that adding zip ties helps eliminate lines popping off, but then I think they might run slightly higher boost pressures than the 931's typically do.

On my Photobucket site:

Its been pretty neglected lately, but I'm building a new motor and transmission for it. Should be able to keep up with Rasta's 931 (at least in a straight line) First car I ever bought, back in '95.

Plus a few more from back in the day:
