Hey Rick, where have you been? I've been selling those for a year! I think you were the last guy to get one! They are good aren't they? I don't know how I ever got along without one before, the parts guys at the dealership are glad too. Much quicker to order by the number.

Hi Deisel...unfortunately I didn't buy one...just downloaded it from a place I found. It's gonna be closed by Porsche pretty soon, me thinks.

A PET CD is a CD ROM of ALL Porsche parts for all cars ever made. It breaks diagrams down into little components and lets you find the part numbers lickity split.

I'm so happy I think I'll go home and crack open that bottle of GlenFiddich I've been saving.

Next?

ALL computerized manuals for the 924, 924S and Turbo.

No prices unfortunately. As far as updates, it goes up to the year 2000 and that's it. So checking for parts on your brand new 996 is out of the question.

The funny thing about the PET is that there are some parts that aren't listed such as the 911 part on the 80 931. That snailshell transmission linkage peice.

Can't you order a PET CD from one of "those" Japanese websites? I think I remember seeing ads for one of them recently...

Oh, wait, no, that was a different sort of "pet"...

Hey Rick, you like GlenFiddich? Man, I am going to take back everything I have said about you. I love single malt Scotch.
