I need an early (77) UK drivers or US passengers side mirror (the black adjust by hand type). Someone suggested when i first joined this board that one form an Audi 50 would fit but I cant find one here, I dont believe that the Audi 50 was sold down under. I have so many VW mirrors as everytime I see a new one that shape, I get it, but none of the mounts fit and the mirror part cant be changed over from mount to mount as the porsche one has the female at the top and the VW at the bottom. Now what I would really like is either.... someone who has one and would be willing to sell it to me (yeah I know post in the parts wanted section). Someone who could pass on contact details for a breakers in there country that would have one and would post international. or any other ideas about how to get one real quick.

I think I have one from my 77 1/2 car. I know I have the parts for the right side which was an option at the time. I will look.

I havent had the time to go out and take a picture yet (i no lame excuse but its the truth) so I quickly found one on the net today if you need a better one let me know and I will go and back the car out of the garage (without a mirror) and take one because my camera wont take a pic in the garage without a flash or major setting changes and a tripod (digital SLR) and I have lent my flash to someone.

Ich könnte haben, wenn ich wünschte, as I have family in Germany not heidelberg though but on set in Mulhouse (actuly in France but they speak german) and the other in kassel which puts heidelberg about half way between, but like pocketscience said I mentioned that this was not my car just a pic I found on the net. My car is ice metallic green (i think thats what it is called) with a brown and tan interior.
