Hi Guys,
I've had a bit of a search around looking for recommendations for replacement speakers for the rear 6X"4 speakers but still have a few questions.
What is the max depth speaker that will fit? I've read 2" but want to make sure.
Will rectangular speakers fit?
eg, these:http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9935_Infinity+Reference+6422cfp.html
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good brand that fits?
I don't want to have to cut away anything to make them fit.
Also, does anyone have any recommended spots for mounting an amp? I was thinking in the glovebox as I never use it anyway...
Cheers. |

i have either the same, or similiar infinities in my 931, though its been a few years since i put them in, i dont recall any major issues with fitment. one mounting screw may not line up, not sure though. in the back, you have far more than 2 inches to work with, and if your willing to cut metal in the inner brace, you can fit much larger speakers. _________________ Eric
