Ok so
My car is missing its drivers side rubber bumper part and I think I need a new one since it was gone before I got the car
Any ideas where I could find one and the brackets that hold it on? _________________ My to do list:

Hey if I get my brakes working and fix the Lower rocker panel and the drivers side damage from when the guy who had it before me slid off the road this could be my first car |

There's a few on ebay that I saw a little while ago. As for the brackets, I'm not sure, you might have to make something or use a butterfly wall anchor.

There isnt really a bracket. There are two studs that come out of the back of the "bumperette" and you just bolt it on.

Well it looks like there was some sort of bracket on the outside
Maybe its a piece of sheet metal on the rubber part that the bolt bolts into? _________________ My to do list:

no bracket... the rubber has a stud attached to a small washer like plate molded into it, there is also a smallish depression molded in that lines up to the "pin" on the bumper itself. The studs rust out, the rubber decays, and eventually, the pieces separate.
I have successfully repaired these by carving out the bad rubber, sinking a new stud and filling with flexible epoxy (i dont remember which type or brand I used, but it was regular parts store stuff. ) just had to be carefull not to overtighten upon re-installation as to not pull the new stud out, and of course to let the epoxy dry several days. _________________ Eric
