Ok I have both carbs on. Now I have to fabricate a linkage. The factory throttle cable is to short to reach under the carbs and pull straight down.

I think someone here posted that they used a universal cable from
Lokar, then fabricated the proper bracketry from there.

Hey Doco. The stock left hand drive cable is also to short. You might have to order a longer cable from Lokar or CSR performance.

I did the same thing for my Weber TB install... pretty blue throttle cable... Made up a new top piece for the TB and also the mounting piece that bolts to the valve cover. Does the job.

I have all the valves adjusted , carbs on, and My first road test done!! Now I either need a exhaust manifold or a header. The original manifold is cracked and gave out during my test drive. The did ok. I have a vacuum leak to run down and some small electrical problems. I think I have a bad ground on the inside of the car.

Yes, When I was looking around the PO had broke off the bottom #1 exhaust stud. I had to weld a bolt on it to get it out. When I was underneath the car, I noticed that the bottom flange of #2 was cracked!!! I think I may have a job for monday. Now I can finish the car after a couple weeks.
