Has anyone replaced their black rubber pieces on the rear bumper with 944 bumper caps? Would this even work?

I know the bumper pads fit over the caps, I would remove the impact strips and just run the bumper shaved...

They will not work. They are made for the wider fenders.

A European rear bumper will get rid of those rubber things and they look very nice. (it will also reduce the weight by about 35#)

I think I have a pair of 944 end caps you can have for the cost of shipping if you want to try.

I bought one from Vince Ponz maybe 6 or 7 years ago. I don'r remember what I paid him for it but it wasn't too bad. Maybe he still has a connection.

I don't have a rear euro bumper but I do have a front bumper. Fogs too and mounts. NOT cheap, but perfect.
