Car has been sitting for 5 years and has no low end power and very poor throttle response. Also has a rough idle and car shakes between 1500rmp and 3000rpm during acceleration then smothes out at higher rpm. I have replaced plugs, air filter and changed the oil twice. What else should I do?

Don't start it again until you have checked the balance shaft belt and the camshaft belt.

I did a compression test and found that cylinder 4 has no compression while the other cylinders have 150psi. Do you think it could be a stuck lifter or broken spring?

Blown head gasket, burned valve, or holed piston are the most likely issues. It could be corroded and stuck rings, but in this case, some compression is usually present.

Do a blow down check to determine which one it is.
