My headlights are not working at the moment and I ordered a haynes manual and its still not turned up yet. Does anyone know what relay controls the headlights (not the motor relay) for dipped/mainbeam.

Whether the Haynes is going to be of any use will depend on what car you have (and what Haynes). I have an '82 924 Turbo (US spec) and the Haynes book for 924 and 924 Turbo (US book), but; there are quite a few differences between the relays shown in my Haynes and those shown in the owner's manual that came with the car. I'd recommend you look at the owners manual, but; here's what it says in the (US)Haynes: "Headlight flasher and low beam relay" (lower row of relays, first one on the left side), "Extra headlight relay" (lower row, second from left), "Headlight Flasher Changeover Relay (Europe)" (upper row, second from the right side.

For my car, there are no relays on the fuse and relay panel for headlights - don't think there are any anywhere (except for one on the headlight motor which has nothing to do with actual light on/off) and the relay positions I mentioned above are empty (and my headlights work).
