Hello race fans.
I have solicited some help with building the new 924.org site:
I have two sections of the site that have NO content - not even anything to transfer from the old site. I am hoping that one of you might be able to put something together for us. The new site has a page dedicated to giving an overview of Racing the 924 in the US, UK, and other regions.
This is what I've been able to pull from the old site - its content for the "Other Regions":
http://www.iribbit.net/i/924org/rtn_other.cfm
We still need content for the "US":
http://www.iribbit.net/i/924org/rtn_us.cfm
and the "UK":
http://www.iribbit.net/i/924org/rtn_uk.cfm
I'm just looking for an overview on how to get started and where to go. Basically, for each region could someone formalize what was generally discussed in this thread:
http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=21342
I'll track down any photography or complimentary images unless anyone could share that as well.
Thanks in advance.
p.s. Rasta, I know you were helpful in that thread, if there is any chance you might be able to help out for the US page, that would be greatly appreciated. _________________ 924.org (no time to complete)

I would be happy to do that. Perhaps Vaughan can write up a little primer on ITB, and I will work on SCCA. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Unfortunately the information you have on the NZ Bridgestone Porsche series is very out of date.
I'm just looking at getting into it now, and will probably be the sole remaining 924 , so will let you know more as I find it out. _________________ Andrew

You might not be the only 924. I'm thinking about dusting off my GT or the old left hand drivel ightweight car I have and bringing one of them out to play inseleted events (Taupo and Manfiled) as I can't be bothered towing either car all the way to Auckland
depends what class the organisers want to put the GT into as to whether I'll come out and play with the rest of the Porsches _________________ Remember a Porsche is not just for Christmas,
if you take it to pieces slowly it can provide anguish all year long! |

I'd love to have anything you might be able to put together for your region. Part of my on-and-off effort os redoing the site is to make sure the content is up to date and still legit. I'd appreciate any contribution you might be able to submit.
Of course this goes with out mention that credit will be given to content accordingly. _________________ 924.org (no time to complete)

We might meet at Taupo then, as I'm not planning on doing the Mansfield rounds this season. I'm looking forward to the handicap races, as I won't have a chance of keeping up with the rest of you in the normal ones! _________________ Andrew

OK, will do - probably well overdue, and I've put such things together numerous times before, I'm definitely overdue to compile it properly... _________________ Vaughan Scott

I hope that moving to a new look and feel along with some updated and reorganized content will bring a little more traffic and serve the community a little better.
My underlying goal is to have the best Porsche Registry out there - I think it is on track.
I still need to rebuild the registry itself so I'll touch base with you on that when I 'm ready to start that.
Once I get all the content in and the registry rebuilt, I'll ask the community for a formal review and build a poll to sign off on the launch.
Thanks again for all the help from the racing community. _________________ 924.org (no time to complete)
