If anyone is interested there are a few video clips on UTube of this weekends Loton Park hillclimb.
There are a few 924 cars out with Steve Bassington , Jamie martin and myself running.
Steve made good use of the slicks to turn in a great time even allowing for a spin. As for me it was a poor showing, the car being down on grip and power at present having just stepped up from the class below (down about 30bhp). There is one clip of the car coming up the hill and I rather stupidly stuck a wheel on the grass...not the end of the world but the obvious increase in revs and drop in speed from within the car means its now fairly certain the Phantom Grip diff unit has bought the farm!

Struggled for grip all weekend and reckon this explains a lot...need money...more money!!!. to buy a new full diff for the 944s2 box...

Ah well, next event is in a few weeks so no real chance to mod the car in time to make it competitive in the new class till next season....but then ...ooooh yes, it wil be mine!!!

Cheers
Simon

Yeah I like the noise too, although its hard to hear inside the car. Its as loud as it is due to the position of the intercooler and the hard pipes you have to use to prevent boost lines sucking in under vac.

Cheers
