Dave D. is a very resonable and responsive man. As director of 944 cup he has encouraged all front engine porsche cars to have fun from 928 to na 924 and 924 turbo cars with all forms of the 924 944 . 944s 944s2 , 944turbo and 968 included. Running with these guys is great. If enough 924 cars run it might well be that they will get ther own run group . Having run an 924s se car, and having built a 944s track car all I can tell you is that we are now building a 924 na with carbs , which are legal and the only electic s on the car will be brake light , fuel pump and cool suit. Really looking forward to it . Lt ran a 924s le car and then a 944 ep scca car in super cup ,we are now building the na 924 together and he is restoring a 77 Martini . as street car. Check the 944 site rules for the weight min. on 924 and go on diet with car and self.

Very cool - I was wondering if someone was going to build a radical 924 for cup competition - 2,000 lbs min wt! Good luck!
