Well,I was going to fix my car this last weekend, But the family went to central oregon,Bend. We stayed at the townhouse there.Saterday morning I went to Mount Bachelor just a few miles down the road
and snow boarded all day, it was really snowen all day.Had a blast...then went ice skating that night and again on Sunday.Anyway took out my alternator today cause the volt guage was jumpen all over the place staying down in the 10 and under range then going up to where it is supposed to be.Ultimately
discharging the battery to no start.Had the alternator tested it was good so is the battery its putting out alot of amps. The wires from the battery to the starter to the alternator were falling apart. I removed the starter also and went to autozone and bought some 10 and 12 guage wire and and connectors, new (+) battery cable with a 10 guage wire attached to it for additions msd ignition ect. Made a new wiring harness. Ill post a pic. in the morning. It never would stop running but the wipers would slow way down, never tried the headlights Joe D.

if there is a short you can try to isolate it by putting a meeter on the battery if there is voltage then the battery is draining pull the fuses one by one when the voltage drain stops you know which circut has the short
