Hey guys, for as long as I've had my car, the passenger side window has not worked, so I tested the motor, (it was bad) and I got a new one, (it tested fine) I pluged it into the terminal and got nothing, so I tested the switches on the window that does work and they all tested good. so I know that the problem lies somewhere between the switch on the driver-side door and the switch on the passenger-side door. I checked the wires on the passenger-side with my meter and the only one that tested good was the ground. As of now I have the motor wired to a power wire that goes to the amp that powers my sub-woofer. I'm not exactly pleased with this set-up because for one, the window is wired to a constant wire and can be operated without the car even being turned on, and two, I can't operate the window from the driver-side switch. I would like to get this to work the way that Porsche had origionally wired it, so if anyone has any idea where the problem might be I'm all ears. Thanks in advance.

There's a wiring diagram for the electric windows in the Haynes manual. I'd start by getting hold of one and checking the car wiring against that, one wiring at a time.

Make sure you're happy with each one before moving to the next. It's time consuming, but it's better than guessing. Guess wrong and you could be fire-fighting - literally!
