Left side bearing dust cap stuck

I had nothen better to do today than work on my car all day, removed the wheels & the rear konis.Cleaned up the cv boots and joints
& cleaned more stuff[trailing arms etc.On
the front I noticed there is a lot of slack in the drivers side brake rotor figured the clamping nut needed adjusting[removed the brake caliper]cant get the bearing cover off
is the speedo sealing compound maybe holding it on I squirted it up real good with wd40 for the night any suggestions.The brakes were just done last year new master cylinder and rear brake cylinders.

First of all did you remove the circlip on the cable end coming out of the cap?

If you did just pry the cap off.

they get stuck on there really good, I had to use a hammer, and pound outward on the lip.. but make sure you remove the circlip holding the speedo cable...

Well I got the bearing cover off just with channel locks I see the groove for the cir clip[it was missing].. The outside bearing
is shot[I ran to the parts place and was able to get another[bearing]. Its all back together again ..Thanks alot
