I have just attached an extra earth cable from the engine to the battery ground strap (works a treat!! ;o) ) I attached it to a spare bolt hole on the inlet manifold. What are these holes actually for out of interest? Car is a right hand drive.

Doesn't the step-down cable mechanism on the auto bolt on there???

It's where the auto throttle cam/bracket bolts to.
